In an online report on HindustanTimes.com, writer-director Sharma stated that he was eager to begin filming and said, “It's going to be a double whammy, as Haddi gives me the opportunity to collaborate with Nawazuddin. Our team is hoping that the motion poster piques the audience's interest as we are excited to be diving deep into a new world.”
Sharma worked as a second unit director on AK Vs AK (2020) and the Netflix web-series Sacred Games (2018). He was also the dialogue writer in the Adivi Sesh-starrer Major (2022).
Siddiqui added, “I have portrayed different [and] interesting characters but Haddi is going to be a unique and special one since I will be sporting a never-seen-before look and it will also help me to push the envelope as an actor.”
Haddi, which is expected to begin filming soon, will be shot in areas around western Uttar Pradesh, including Noida and Ghaziabad.
