Gajendra Ahire's web-series Sajinde available on Vmas Marathi

Gajendra Ahire's Sajinde, which was initially planned as a film, has been released as a four-episode series on the newly launched Marathi OTT platform Vmas Marathi.

The show, which stars newcomers Kashmira Takte, Amit Rekhi, Abhijeet Dalvi and Rishikesh Pathare, was premiered on Vmas Marathi on 22 July. 

Apart from direction, Ahire has written the story, screenplay and dialogues and also composed the music for the series. as was the case with his previous projects Anumati (2013) and Kulkarni Chaukatla Deshpande (2019).

Speaking about the series, Ahire said, "I always have this nervousness to try something new after finishing a film and that's why I took the responsibility of directing the series Sajinde, I already had the story ready so I went ahead and directed the show with a different plot. Overall, the whole shooting experience was fantastic. The platform Vmas Marathi provided great support."

Meanwhile, Ahire recently wrapped up the shoot of his Hindi feature The Signature, which stars Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor, Mahima Chaudhry, Ranvir Shorey and Neena Kulkarni.
