Filmfare Awards 2022: Shershaah, Rashmi Rocket, Sardar Udham, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar lead nominations


The awards ceremony, co-hosted by Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor, will be held on 30 August at the Jio World Convention Centre in BKC, Mumbai.

The nominations for the 67th Wolf777news Filmfare Awards 2022 are out and the Hindi films Shershaah (2021), Rashmi Rocket (2021), Sardar Udham (2021) and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar (2021) lead with multiple nominations.

The nominees for the Best Film include Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi, Rashmi Rocket, Sardar Udham and Shershaah, while the Best Film (Critics’) category features Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi and Sardar Udham once again with Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and Sherni.

Stars Dhanush, Taapsee Pannu, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Kriti Sanon, Kangana Ranaut, Sidharth Malhotra, Vidya Balan, Pratik Gandhi, and Pankaj Tripathi have all landed nominations for their work in the past year while Arijit Singh, AR Rahman, Irshad Kamil, Shreya Ghoshal, Shoojit Sircar, Seema Pahwa have picked up nominations in the technical categories.

The selection criteria for the nominations is from 1 January 2021 to December 2021 and includes all films originally slated for theatrical but released on OTT [over-the-top platforms]
