Koffee with Karan (Season 7) promo: His 'roka' happened here the last time, says Siddharth Malhotra about Vicky Kaushal’s second outing on the show

Vicky Kaushal and Siddharth Malhotra appear together on the seventh episode of Koffee with Karan (Season 7). The host, Karan Johar, welcomes them by calling them ‘Punjabi boys’, prompting Kaushal to wonder if this is the Punjabi episode of the show.

In a jocular vein, Johar tells Kaushal that his previous appearance on the show was a momentous one, referring to Katrina Kaif saying that she and Kaushal will look great together. On hearing this, Kaushal appeared to faint on Johar’s couch, drawing much laughter from Ayushmann Khurrana. Kaushal and Kaif tied the knot at an intimate ceremony in Rajasthan on 9 December 2021 in the presence of family and selected guests.

In this episode, however, the comment by Johar leads Malhotra to quip that Kaushal’s roka (pre-engagement) happened on the show!

Not one to spare anybody, Johar asks Malhotra if he has plans to marry actress Kiara Advani, his co-star in Shershaah (2021), catching him off-guard. Taking the fun and games forward, Johar asks the Punjabi boys to pronounce things with a Punjabi accent, leading to some light moments.

Both actors seem to be having fun on the show but Johar seems to have the most fun as he reads out comments from fans on the two actors.
