'Tariq' is our next creative collaboration with Bake My Cake Films after Batla House and Tehran. Time to celebrate the freedom to tell good stories #AzadiKaAmritMahotsav 🙏🏻 pic.twitter.com/7I3A9hYYKu
The poster shows the film’s title accompanied by a fallen leaf. Based on a true story, Tariq is written by Ritesh Shah and Lalit Marathe. The title could refer both to a man’s name or even an important date.
This is John’s third collaboration with Bake My Cake Films after Batla House (2019) and the upcoming Tehran. He is also awaiting the release of the keenly-anticipated Pathaan (2023) with co-stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone on 25 January 2023.
