Milind Zumber Kavde’s adult comedy Takatak (2019) became a surprise hit of that year despite it receiving backslash on its content.
As expected, the sequel of the movie Takatak 2 (2022), as per its trailer, goes several notches higher but provides a sleazy and cheap affair in the name of ‘adult entertainment.’
The basic plot of the film is age-old. Prathamesh Parab’s character and his two college friends are desperate in a problematic way to have a girlfriend for only one person. Yes, you guessed it right.
Hence, the female characters of the film are only used as sexual objects and nothing more. Apart from the outdated adult one-liners, the film also resorts to some cheap toilet humour and body-shaming.
It is tiresome to see Parab play the same character of a desperate young man over and over again. His acting and dialogue delivery are also appearing repetitive by now. And the less said the better about the other actors.
Along with Purple Bull Entertainment, the sequel is also produced by Reliance Entertainment.
