The short film Shameless, starring Sayani Gupta and Hussain Dalal, was released today on the Amazon shopping app.
Produced by Shabinaa Entertainment, the movie has been directed by Keith Gomes.
The film revolves around a guy (Dalal) who stays alone in a city. He lives a lonely life while working from home and regularly orders food from restaurants. One day, he gets angry at a food delivery girl (Gupta), which gets him into trouble.
On releasing the film on the app, Girish Prabhu, head of Amazon Advertising, said in a statement, “We are delighted to bring such a critically acclaimed title to Amazon miniTV’s library of award-winning short films. We are sure that this story will offer an avenue for viewers to pause, register and think about how compassion is important.”
Speaking about the film, Shabinaa Khan, producer and presenter, said, “Shameless is a special one! Sayani and Hussain have acted brilliantly and have done full justice to the captivating narrative. Gomes has also made a short film titled Doobie (2020). He was one of the writers in the Salman Khan-starrer Kick (2014) and an assistant director on projects such as Gayab (2004) and Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai (2010).
