Ram Charan has rebuffed statements about walking away with more accolades for his performance in SS Rajamouli's recently released blockbuster RRR than his co-star Jr NTR.
When the subject was brought up by a reporter at a grand bash, which was hosted by producer Jayantilal Gada after the film entered the Rs1,000 crore club worldwide, the actor said, “No ma'am, I don’t believe that at all. Not even for a second. We both have excelled beautifully and Tarak [as Jr NTR is known] was fantastic. I don’t think I’ve enjoyed working in a film so much like RRR. What I take back from RRR is my journey with Bheem; my journey with Tarak. I shall never ever forget. Thank you Rajamouli for giving me that opportunity. I’ll love him [Tarak] to bits, and it’ll always remain the same.”
The event was held in Mumbai on Wednesday evening and besides the filmmaker and actors, Aamir Khan, Huma Qureshi, Johnny Lever and Makarand Deshpande were in attendance.

RRR is a fictional story set in the 1920s and is based on the lives of two well-known revolutionaries – Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, who are played by Ram Charan and Jr NTR.
RRR is Rajamouli’s first full-length period film. Like most of his films, it is a tale of revenge. In a promotional interview with Kabir Singh (2019) director Sandeep Vanga, Rajamouli said his films are mostly based on revenge because it’s the 'strongest emotion'.
The film, which has been dubbed and released in Hindi, features Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Samuthirakani and Shriya Saran.
