Vikrant Massey, Radhika Apte's Forensic to be streamed on Zee5

Vikrant Massey and Radhika Apte’s upcoming investigative thriller Forensic — which is the Hindi remake of the 2020 Malayalam film of the same name — will be premiered on the streaming platform Zee5.

Directed by Vishal Furia, the Hindi remake will also star Prachi Desai, Vindu Dara Singh and Rohit Roy.

Furia shared the news along with a new poster featuring the two leads. Both Massey and Apte are looking for something or someone and look very serious.

This is Massey's third feature film to directly be streamed on Zee5 after 14 Phere (2021) and Love Hostel (2022). The actor essays a forensic officer, a role that was played by Tovino Thomas in the original film. And Apte will be seen portraying the character of a police officer in the small sleepy town of Mussourie. Together they join forces to find the killer of small children. 

Talking about the film, Manish Kalra, chief business officer, Zee5 India, told the news agency Asian News International (ANI), “We are happy to bring yet another intriguing title, Forensic, with a prominent star-cast for our viewers. Consumer preference stays at the very core of our business policy and the endeavour is to keep pushing the boundaries to identify interest areas and expand the horizon of storytelling. Forensic is a psychological thriller with unique character arcs that take you through a myriad of emotions with high adrenalin suspense. We are sure we will see the replication of success in the Hindi version too with audiences being hooked to this edge-of-the-seat drama.”

Talking about the film, Furia added, “A milligram of DNA can reveal the identity of a person. Forensic is a taut thriller with twists that will surprise and with facts that will shock the viewers. With accomplished actors Vikrant and Radhika at the top of their game and with amazing producers Mansi Bagla, Varun Bagla, and Deepak Mukut, I have managed to give my best to ensure a thrilling ride throughout.”
