Actor Sikandar Kher wraps up shooting for Chidiya Udd

Actor Sikandar Kher has finished shooting for the MX Player series Chidiya Udd.

Directed by Marathi filmmaker Ravi Jadhav, the thriller also stars Jackie Shroff and Slumdog Millionaire (2008) actor Mathur Mittal.

Produced by Harman Baweja and Vicky Bahri, Chidiya Udd is Kher’s second project with Shroff after Romeo Akbar Walter (2019).

For Kher, Chidiya Udd will always be a special project for multiple reasons. “Getting to work with such a talented team, especially Jaggu dada is definitely one of them,” said the actor.

He added, “Having said that, it’s safe for me to say that I am going to miss being on set with my dream team given we have just wrapped up the last schedule of the shoot. The overall experience of working on this show has been beyond amazing and I hope that the audience loves it as much as we loved making it!”

While not much is known about the storyline of the series, Kher earlier revealed in a statement that it has an international feel, and has been made for a global audience.

Kher was last seen in Rohit Shetty's cop drama film Sooryavanshi (2021) and also in the second season of Disney+ Hotstar's family crime drama web-series Aarya, starring Sushmita Sen.
