Dasvi song 'Ghani Trip': Foot-tapping melody brings out Abhishek Bachchan's desi swag

'Ghani Trip', the groovy song from Tushar Jalota’s upcoming film Dasvi showcases the desi swag of Abhishek Bachchan in the avatar of Ganga Ram Chaudhary, a chief minister who is sent to judicial custody amid an investigation into a teacher recruitment scam.

The taunts of IPS officer Jyoti Deswal (Yami Gautam Dhar) about his lack of education make Ganga Ram vow to take his Class 10 board exam or give up his position.

Composed by Sachin-Jigar and featuring vocals by Mellow D and Kirti Sagathia as well as the duo, the energetic number is a perfect blend of local flavour and party vibes. Ashish Pandit’s words bring out the politician-turned-student’s desperation to fulfil his goal in a light-hearted tone and are matched with riotous dance sequences.

Yami in her IPS officer avatar and Nimrat Kaur, who portrays the feisty Bimla Devi, the wife of Chaudhary also shake a leg.

The foot-tapping melody and thumping beats set the tone of the film and prepare the audience for an entertaining watch.
