X=Prem poster hints at scientific twist in romantic tale woven with memories

SVF Entertainment revealed the official poster for Srijit Mukherji’s upcoming film X=Prem, starring Arjun Chakraborty, Madhurima Basak, Anindya Sengupta and newcomer actress Shruti Das.

The new-age romantic drama features Chakraborty as Khilat, a software engineer who uses technology to solve the problems that come in the way of his journey with his love interest, played by Basak.

In an earlier statement, the director had revealed that the film would explore various shades of romance of college-goers.

The monochrome poster, which was released with the caption, 'What is love but memories? What are memories but love?', has inverted images of two couples who are connected by sketches of two brains with a backdrop filled with drawings of mathematical equations.

The poster generates a lot of intrigue as the sketch of brains hint at the significance of memory in the romantic journey of both couples, while the equations suggest a scientific twist in the narrative.

X=Prem will be released in theatres on 13 May.
