The Punjabi-language feature Saunkan Saunkne, starring Ammy Virk, Sargun Mehta and Nimrat Khaira, is all set to be released in theatres on 13 May.

Directed by Amarjit Singh Saron and written by Amberdeep Singh, the official teaser of the film has been released.

Virk shared the poster of the film on Instagram, which features the actor in a rather pathetic looking avatar sitting in the middle of two women dressed up as brides and posing enthusiastically.

The teaser begins with Virk trying to mediate a conflict between the two women, played by Mehta and Khaira. He says that he will be objective and only act as a panchayat member instead of acting as their husband! The two women then go on to bicker with each other, revealing the fact that they are both married to the same man.

The women are sisters and Virk has been married to Mehta for ten years. Khaira seems to be the more feisty one as she shuts up her husband as well as her sister. Virk’s family just sits and watches in bewilderment at the events unfolding before them.

The entertaining teaser gives a glimpse into the central premise of the film that will lead to much domestic drama and squabbles. The dialogues are witty and humorous, creating enthusiasm for the comedy-drama.

Check out the teaser and let us know if you are keen on watching the film.
