Director Pavel has started shooting his upcoming film Daktar Kaku, starring Prosenjit Chatterjee, Riddhi Sen and Ena Saha.
A tribute to the medical professionals who have worked tirelessly during the pandemic, the film sees Chatterjee and Sen play a father and son who are doctors.
The update was shared along with the motion logo of the film by creative designer Ekta Bhattacharjee on 2 April.
In the film, the father and son have different ideals, which leads to conflicts between them. The story depicts how a greater humanitarian cause eventually inspires them to relent and join hands.
Daktar Kaku is Sen’s second film with the director after Mon Kharap, which is yet to be released.
Pavel’s next film Kolkata Chalontika, based on the incident of the Posta flyover collapse of 2016, is slated to arrive in theatres on 15 July.
