Aay Khuku Aay, starring Prosenjit Chatterjee and Ditipriya Roy, to be released in theatres on 27 May


Directed by Souvik Kundu, the film will see the actor play the father of the actress's character.

Souvik Kundu’s upcoming film Aay Khuku Aay, starring Prosenjit Chatterjee and Ditipriya Roy, will be released in theatres on 27 May. The actor will play Roy's character's father in the film, which is being backed by actor-turned-producer Jeet’s Jeetz Filmworks.

The release date of the film was announced with a poster, in which the father-daughter duo can be sharing a sublime moment of laughter. In the poster, Chatterjee can be seen in the deglamourized avatar of a middle-aged man with a receding hairline.

Aay Khuku Aay will also feature Rafiath Rashid Mithila, Rahul Deb Bose, Sohini Sengupta, Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, Sankar Debnath and Satyam Bhattacharya.

Roy will also be seen in Pavel’s Kolkata Chalontika, which is slated to be released on 15 July.

Chatterjee is currently filming for Pavel’s Daktar Kaku, also starring Riddhi Sen. He has completed shooting for Pathikrit Basu’s Kacher Manush, also starring Dev Adhikari. The film will be released in theatres during Durga Puja.
