The trailer of choreographer Ganesh Acharya's Dehati Disco was unveiled on the occasion of International Dance Day and introduces the viewers to the Uttar Pradesh village of Shivpur where any kind of dance is strictly prohibited.

The reason for such an absurd rule is not revealed in the trailer. But when two strangers who love to shake a leg, Bhola (Ganesh Acharya) and a kid named Bheema (Saksham Sharma), arrive in the hamlet, they decide to challenge this tradition. As expected, they face resistance from the villagers, especially the pandits.

If this was not enough, the son of an important figure returns, who also happens to be a dancer. But his dancing style is poles apart from what Bhola and Bheem are trying to inculcate. He then challenges the villagers to beat him in a dance battle. When nobody steps up, Bheem comes forward and accepts the challenge

The trailer is packed with some intense dance performances as the two characters have superb coordination and are totally in sync. The trailer makes it quite clear that we will get to see a lot of song and dance.

Helmed by Manoj Sharma, the film also stars Ravi Kishan, Manoj Joshi, Rajesh Sharma, and Sahil M Khan. Acharya has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues along with Manoj Sharma.

Dehati Disco will arrive in cinemas on 27 May.
