Srijit Mukherji's Shabaash Mithu (2022), which was initially to be released in February, is finally due to arrive in theatres on 15 July.

The film sees Tapsee Pannu essay sportswoman Mithali Dorai Raj, the renowned skipper of the Indian women's cricket team. In 23 years, Raj has amassed seven consecutive 50s in ODIs and has led India in four World Cups.
The upcoming Hindi biopic tracks her journey from an 8-year-old girl with a dream to eventually becoming one of Indian cricket’s legends.
Written by Priya Aven, the feature film has a score by Amit Trivedi and lyrics by Swanand Kirkire and Kausar Munir. Produced by Viacom18 Studios, Shabaash Mithu also stars Vijay Raaz and Sampa Mandal.
