12th Man teaser: Mohanlal blows the final whistle to unveil the shadows

After Drishyam (2013) and Drishyam 2 (2021), Mohanlal has collaborated with director Jeethu Joseph on a mystery thriller titled 12th Man. The intriguing teaser for the film, which is clouded in mystery, reminds viewers that every human being has three lives — public, private and secret.

The teaser introduces various characters whose intentions and connections with each other remain a mystery. The video ends with Mohanlal's character declaring, “It’s time to blow the final whistle.”

Although the short teaser does not reveal much about the plot, it does hint that the film will talk about revealing the ugly truth about people who are putting up a façade of being good human beings.

The film also features Unni Mukundan, Saiju Kurup, Shivada, Anu Sithara, Anusree, Priyanka Nair, Anu Mohan, Rahul Madhav, Leona Lishoy, Chandunath and Aditi Ravi.

Produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the Aashirvad Cinemas banner, 12th Man will skip theatres and be premiered directly on Disney+ Hotstar. The makers are yet to announce the release date.
