Om: The Battle Within teaser – Aditya Roy Kapur is equipped to counter multiple challenges

Aditya Roy Kapur will be seen in an out-and-out action movie for the first time in the form of director Kapil Verma’s Om: The Battle Within (2022).

The teaser for the film, which is just out, makes it clear that Om: The Battle Within will be full of action and stunts.

The teaser does not reveal much of the story but we are told that Roy Kapur plays a tough soldier who is always ready for action. However, there comes a point when he loses his memory.

The flashes shown indicate that he also has a family, including a son. Overall, it shows that the protagonist has to fight various internal and external battles.

The dialogue at the end, “Rakt rahe ya na rahe, raashtra humesha rahega [Even if I am not there, the country will always be there]”, indicates that he is a patriot.

While the film stars Sanjana Sanghi opposite Roy Kapur, she does not feature in the teaser.

Aditya Roy Kapur appears confident during the fight sequences and also in scenes where he has to use heavy weapons. The film seems to have been shot lavishly as befits an actioner today. But it also reminds you of various movies of Tiger Shroff, who has stereotyped himself in such roles over the years.

Om is Kapil Verma’s directorial debut. He had made a short film earlier titled Nitishastra, starring Taapsee Pannu.
