Gosling plays the title character, the shadow assassin known as the Gray Man who is a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) operative named Court Gentry. Also known as Sierra Six, Gentry was taken from a federal penitentiary and recruited by a handler, Donald Fitzroy, played by Thornton.
However, the former agent of death is being ruthlessly hunted across the world by Chris Evans’s Lloyd Hansen, Gentry’s former CIA colleague, and now his psychopathic adversary.
While it is unsure what kind of character Dhanush plays in the film, de Armas plays agent Dani Miranda, a character that wasn’t in the book, who helps the Gray Man. The Indian actor shot for the project last year.
The National award-winning actor made his international debut in The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir (2019). Dhanush is filming a number of south projects including Thiruchitrambalam, Naane Varuven and Vaathi/Sir.
