The trailer of Shieladitya Moulik’s upcoming film Hridpindo was launched at a hotel in Kolkata in the presence of its cast and crew members.
Starring Arpita Chatterjee, Saheb Chatterjee and Prantik Banerjee, Hridpindo is a love story of three characters interconnected with each other.
Story of Hridpindo is very close to my heart, says Saheb Chatterjee
Hridpindo was initially supposed to arrive in theatres in 2020 but its release was postponed due to the pandemic. The film will be out on 13 May.
“After two years, finally the trailer of Hridpindo has been launched,” said Moulik. “It is a special moment for us, as we were eagerly waiting for the film to release. Now it feels like a dream-come-true moment as we are finally able to tell the story,” he added.
Kan Singh Sodha’s KSS Productions & Entertainment has taken the initiative to release the film. “We waited for two years so that the audience can watch the film in a cinema hall,” said Sodha.
“People will be able to have the full experience of the visuals and songs in the theatre. Hridpindo is a different kind of story and all of you will be able to see Arpita Di in a completely different avatar. Saheb Da and Prantik are superb too,” he added.
The music of the film has been composed by Ranajoy Bhattacharjee and the song 'Mon Kyamoner Jonmodin' has been a huge hit since it was released two years ago. “We have been fighting for this film for the past two years. We are extremely excited, and we hope that we can share the excitement with the audience during the release,” added Bhattacharjee.
Prantik Banerjee plays Rick, Arpita Chatterjee’s old lover in the film. “It is one of the most important works of my career,” said the actor.
“We shared great energy while working together in this film. It doesn’t feel like it’s been two years since the film has been made. We are so attached to the work. It is a great feeling indeed.”
