Home Shanti trailer: A family labours to build their dream home

In the Disney+ Hotstar series Home Shanti (2022), principal Sarla Joshi (Supriya Pathak Kapur), her poet husband Umesh Joshi (Manoj Pahwa) and children — played by Chakori Dwivedi and Poojan Chhabra — attempt to move into a larger, customized home.

The middle-class family finally embarks on this ambitious mission after 25 years of preparations, only to encounter red tape, architectural woes and astrological problems. With time running out, will the Joshis be able to fulfil their dream?

Based on a story by Akshay Asthana, Nidhi Bisht, Aakanksha Dua, Mayank Pandey, Nikhil Sachan and Saurabh Khanna, Home Shanti has been directed by Aakanksha Dua.

The family dramedy is due to be premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on 6 May.
