Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, goes on floors

A week after tying the knot with actress Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor has begun shooting for Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal (2023) alongside Rashmika Mandanna.

The shoot began on an auspicious note with a pooja ceremony. The crime drama is being filmed in the snow-capped mountains of Manali in Himachal Pradesh.

The feature also stars veteran actors Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol; the former is reportedly playing Ranbir’s father in the film. Rashmika recently replaced actress Parineeti Chopra who was originally announced as Ranbir’s co-star last year.

Animal is being produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar's T-Series, Murad Khetani's Cine1 Studios and Pranay Reddy Vanga's Bhadrakali Pictures. It is due to be released theatrically on 11 August 2023.
