The teaser of Keerthy Suresh’s Tamil revenge drama Saani Kaayidham, which will be premiered on Amazon Prime on 6 May, was unveiled on Friday. It appears that her character is yearning for vengeance and won’t stop at any cost.
Written and directed by Arun Matheshwaran, the film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and has been produced by Screen Scene.
The teaser opens with the voice of Keerthy, who asks the viewer what revenge entails. She then goes on to define vengeance and why getting someone arrested for their crimes doesn't count.
In the last shot of the teaser, a fierce Keerthy is seen staring into the camera with a gun in her hand.
“I enjoy telling conventional stories in unconventional formats, bringing raw and edgy elements. Here’s a gritty action drama woven around the theme of revenge; a story about a woman who is on a mission to seek vengeance,” said Arun said in a statement.
The film also stars filmmaker Selvaraghavan. It will see Keerthy and him on the run after committing a major crime.
