Director duo Pradeep Tonge and Mangesh Shendge's upcoming Marathi movie Tirsat is set to arrive in theatres on 20 May.
The makers announced the release date with a new poster featuring newcomers Niraj Suryakat and Tejaswini Shirke.
This is the duo's second directorial venture after the romantic drama Itemgiri (2017). The film's music has been composed by P Shankaran while editor Mangesh Jondhale has cut it.
Dinesh Kirve, whose banner Class One Films is backing the film, has also written the story and screenplay.
Tirsat is set to clash with Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani's Bhool Bulaiyaa 2 and the suspense thriller Hit, starring Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra.
The makers have kept the details about the film's plot and the rest of the cast under wraps. The duo is also awaiting the release of another Marathi film, Dildar, which also stars Niraj Suryakant.
