Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya will be released on 29 April. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film also stars Ram Charan. As per reports, Mahesh Babu has turned narrator for the movie and audiences will get to hear his voice at the beginning.
It is said that Mahesh Babu will introduce Padaghattam, the fictional town in which Acharya is set, to the audience.
This is the first time Mahesh Babu has done a voice-over for a Chiranjeevi-starrer.
The film, as per reports, is about a middle-aged Maoist-turned-social reformer who takes on the endowments department for the misappropriation and embezzlement of temple funds and donations.
The film’s trailer was released last week. Ram Charan took to Twitter to share the clip.

The film was supposed to mark Trisha’s return to Telugu filmdom after many years. However, she opted out of the project due to creative differences. She was eventually replaced by Kajal Aggarwal. The film also stars Pooja Hegde.
