Hridpindo teaser: A timeless love story filled with pathos

Shieladitya Moulik’s upcoming film Hridpindo, starring Arpita Chatterjee, Prantik Banerjee and Saheb Chatterjee, tells a story of love that survives the test of time. In the teaser, we see two childhood sweethearts drifting away for reasons unknown but are unable to forget each other.

The teaser begins with Rick (Banerjee) sharing his thoughts on death with Arya (Arpita), while the visuals take us to their childhood, where it all started. Rick narrates that for him, death means forgetting all our kin and loved ones, and we see how Arya remembers Rick’s simple gestures of love even after being married to Somak (Saheb).

In her scenes with Rick, Arya seems to be completely besotted. And despite Somak's attempts to win her heart, she seems a little distant. These visuals are followed by some snippets depicting Rick and Arya's heartbreak while Somak is shown as a spectator.

Ranajoy Bhattacharjee’s music lends great pathos to the story, which depicts Arya’s journey from being hopelessly in love with Rick to being forced to live with Somak.

Hridpindo is slated to be released in theatres on 13 May.
