Ajay Devgn in Runway 34

The song ‘The Fall’ from Ajay Devgn’s upcoming aviation drama Runway 34 highlights the themes of the film. The video gives glimpses of the movie — which, apart from Devgn, stars Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh.

The song, which has been composed and sung by Jasleen Royal and features lyrics by Aditya Sharma, is decent but it's the visuals that keep you hooked. It’s a haunting number that suits the serious subject matter.

The film sees Devgn play a cool and arrogant pilot who has to make a risky and ‘blind’ landing because of turbulence. This is followed by an inquiry led by a senior official, played by Bachchan. Singh plays Devgn's young co-pilot.

There are some moments in the song that are filled with tension. The plight of the passengers, in particular, makes you feel for them.

Runway 34 is Devgn’s latest directorial venture after Shivaay (2016). Just like his last movie, he plays the lead here as well. He has acted in quite a few films with Bachchan but this is the first time that he has directed him.

Produced by Ajay Devgn Ffilms and distributed by Panorama Studios, Runway 34 will be released on Eid on 29 April.

Check out the song and let us know if you are keen on watching the film.
