London Files to be released on Voot Select on 21 April; see teaser

The upcoming Voot Select investigative series follows a homicide detective, Om Singh (Arjun Rampal), looking into the disappearance of a young woman.

Set in a politically divided London, the case pits him against the missing woman’s father Amar Roy (Purab Kohli), a media mogul who is a divisive figure in the city after backing a draconian anti-immigration bill.

The first teaser shows the dour but unpredictable Om Singh, battling his own demons but unearthing darker secrets and some uncomfortable truths from his own past. The two unyielding men go up against each other and the pressures of the case seem to increasingly affect the once unflappable detective.

The thriller is supported by Sapna Pabbi, Medha Rana, Gopal Datt, Sagar Arya and Eva Jane Willis in key parts. Directed by Sachin Pathak and produced by Jar Pictures, the six-episode series is due to be premiered on 21 April on Voot Select.
