Gippy Grewal’s Yaar Mera Titliaan Warga to be released on 25 August

The Punjabi-language feature Yaar Mera Titliaan Warga, starring Gippy Grewal and Tanu Grewal, will be released on 25 August.

The actor shared the poster of the film on Instagram, writing, “Yaar Mera Titliaan Warga Releasing Worldwide In Cinemas On 25th August 2022 (sic).”

The poster, which features a short animation, is a unique one that shows the characters of Gippy and Tanu busy texting on their phones while a young child is standing in the middle holding a bunch of balloons, signifying that the film is about the effect of social media on interpersonal relationships.

The title, Yaar Mera Titliaan Warga, is suggestive of someone who is drawn to beautiful objects and in the context of the film can suggest infidelity or frivolous relationships. The poster concept is certainly an interesting one and we will have to wait to find out what the film is all about. 

Written by Naresh Kathooria, the film has been directed by Vikas Vashisht and produced by Gippy Grewal, Raveneet Kaur Grewl and Ashu Munish Sahni.
