The craze for Rocky Bhai doesn't seem to be ending, with the Hindi version of Prashanth Neel’s KGF: Chapter 2 (2022) earning Rs45.5 crore on Friday, according to trade website BoxOfficeIndia.com.
The overall collection of the period action film — which had a record-breaking opening day — is an impressive Rs98 crore nett.

The sequel, starring Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Prakash Raj and Raveena Tandon, saw a second-day drop of just under 15%. Releasing on a big holiday weekend, KGF: Chapter 2 looks to cross the Rs150 crore mark and could make Rs175 crore nett over the four-day weekend if it keeps up its performance.
Distributed by AA Films Pvt Ltd, KGF: Chapter 2 has been released in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
The feature, a product of the Kannada film industry, has also earned the title of the biggest opener in India as it collectively minted nearly Rs108 crore nett across the country. SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR (2022), starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, made over Rs103 crore nett in India across all versions.
