The Punjabi feature Saade Aale, which marks the last outing of actor Deep Sidhu, will be released in theatres on 29 April. Directed by Jatinder Mauhar, the film has been produced by Sumeet Singh, Mandeep Sidhu and Mandeep Singh Maana.

The trailer of the film describes it as “a story of blood and brotherhood”. We see young men playing kabaddi in the arena, competing with each other. Deep Sidhu and Sukhdeep Sukh are two players who are seen as the shining stars of Punjab sports. Interwoven with this is a romance track that adds to the camaraderie between the two players.

However, an incident disrupts their happy, peaceful life and the story shifts to being one of bloodshed and rivalry. As the two friends are dragged into situations that seem beyond their control, their lives change forever. With rousing, upbeat music giving way to mellow, sorrowful strains, Saade Aale seems to be a family drama.

The film also stars Guggu Gill, Amrit Aulakh and Mahabir Bhullar.

Check out the trailer and let us know if you are keen on watching the film.
