The trailer of father-son duo Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan's much-awaited action-entertainer Acharya looks like a complete masala entertainer with plenty of heart-pumping and gravity-defying action scenes.

The two-and-half-minute trailer begins with the introduction of Ram Charan's character Sidha, the saviour of the people and sacred land called 'Dharmasthali'. He is also seen thrashing a few baddies who want to take control of the area.

Almost halfway through the trailer, the film's main hero, Chiranjeevi, makes a heroic entry. He is seen going against the film's main antagonist played by Sonu Sood. Just like his son, Chiranjeevi's character sends a few goons flying. Towards the end of the clip, they join hands to vanquish all evil.

Although the trailer has a few interesting visuals, it fails to leave the desired impact. Probably because the content lacks the novelty factor. The premise is familiar to viewers of Telugu and Hindi films.

Both father and son look good and appear confident in their respective roles. The trailer hints that they are playing former Maoists.  Pooja Hegde who has been cast opposite Ram Charan makes a brief appearance but Kajal Aggarwal doesn't feature in the trailer.

Written and directed by Koratala Siva, Acharya has been bankrolled by Matinee Entertainment and the Konidela Production Company.
