Atul Kulkarni, Tejashree Pradhan's Anya is set to be released on 10 June

The makers of the Hindi film Anya, starring Atul Kulkarni, Tejashree Pradhan and Raima Sen, have revealed that the film will be released in theatres on 10 June. 

Kulkarni took to Facebook to share the poster, which features Sen, Tejashree, Prathamesh Parab, Krutika Dev, Bhushan Pradhan and himself. The project is Bhushan's maiden Hindi film.

Written and directed by Simmy Joseph, the film was completed in 2018 and supposed to arrive in theatres in May 2019, but the reason for the delay in its release is still unknown. The film tells the story of two documentary filmmakers [Bhushan and Sen] who set out to make a film on the drug mafia.

Anya is being produced by Shelna K and Simmy and co-produced by Sanil V Joy and Subodh Bhardwaj. Anya is going to clash with two big-budget Hindi films: the historical epic Prithviraj, starring Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra, and the espionage thriller Majnu, starring Rashmika Mandanna.
