After coming up with web-series such as What The Folks, Adulting, Clutch and Operation MBBS, Dice Media will put out its first anthology show — Bravehearts. The show will feature five inspiring short films about the sacrifices of the armed forces and the challenges they face.
Veteran actor Anup Soni will feature in one of the short films. Coincidentally, the last web-series in which he appeared — 1962: War In The Hills — was also about armed forces. Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, the show was about India’s conflict with China. Soni played a soldier in the show named Major Khattar.
Interestingly, Soni’s last Hindi movie also saw him in uniform. He played a deputy commissioner of police (DCP) in Milap Zaveri’s Satyameva Jayate 2 (2021), which starred John Abraham in a triple role.
Bravehearts will also star teenage actress Aadhya Anand, who had made a mark for herself in the Netflix show Bombay Begums (2021). She has also acted in the Singapore-based shows A Yellow Bird and Utter 2016: One Hour To Daylight.
The rest of the cast of the show is yet to be revealed.
