The Disciple review: Quiet, masterful study of passion and ability
Dhurala walked away home with the trophies for Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) — which was won by Ankush Chaudhari — and Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female), which Sai Tamhankar shared with Nehha Pendse for her performance in June. Siddharth Jadhav and Sonalee Kulkarni, who featured in the political satire, bagged the Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Male) and Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Female) respectively. Sonalee shared this award with Geetanjali Kulkarni for Karkhanisanchi Wari. Dhurala also bagged the Best Dialogue (Kshitij Patwardhan) — which was shared with Jhimma (Irawati Karnik) — and Best Background Score (AV Prafullchandra).
