Filmmaker Sandeep Mohan’s Nirmal Anand Ki Puppy will be released in select cities in India on 17 September.
This is his first project after Shreelancer (2017), Hola Venky! (2014) and Love, Wrinkle-Free (2011).
Starring Karanveer Khullar, Gillian Pinto, Khushboo Upadhyay, Salmin Sheriff and Vipin Heero, the film is a light-hearted drama whose plot revolves around Nirmal Anand (Khullar), a working professional married to Sarah (Pinto).
Nirmal is fed up with his personal and professional routine and his life takes a new turn when he meets a man (Sheriff) who wants to fulfil his long-standing ambition of becoming a filmmaker. The would-be filmmaker offers Nirmal a role in his movie alongside actress Khushboo (Upadhyay).
Elaborating on the film's distributed release plan, the makers said in a statement, “The movie is set to embark on a pan-India journey with a screening in Chandigarh on 17 September in Cinepolis followed by screenings in Cinepolis, New Delhi, on 18 September, in Kolkata on 24 September at Cinepolis, Acropolis Mall, and in Bangalore in Cinepolis on 25 September. A series of screenings are also scheduled in Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Gurugram, Jaipur, Ambala, Jalandhar, Surat and other cities.”
Nirmal Anand Ki Puppy is produced by Giju John and Sandeep Mohan along with associate producers Francis Varghese and Abhilash Nanda.
