Legendary singer Asha Bhosle has sung a tune for the upcoming Marathi film Hawa Hawai. The 88-year-old last sang for a Marathi project in 2014 when she lent her voice for Miss Match (2014). The chanteuse has since sung a few songs for a few Hindi films.
Hawa Hawai has been directed by Mahesh Tilekar and the music has been composed by Pankaj Padghan. Tilekar has also written the lyrics of the song.
The film marks Tilekar's return to the director's chair after a ten-year sabbatical. His last film was One Room Kitchen (2011).
The project stars Ankit Mohan, who came into the limelight with his performances in the films Farzand (2018) and Fatteshikast (2019), and Varsha Usgaonkar.
The makers are yet to reveal more details about Hawa Hawai.
