The film is the official Hindi remake of Pravin Tarde's Marathi movie Mulshi Pattern (2018).

The first poster of Antim: The Final Truth, which is just out, sees an intense Aayush Sharma and Salman Khan square off. The film will see them play a gangster and a policeman respectively. And neither seems willing to back down. The poster also depicts action sequences featuring both actors.

Sharma debuted in Loveyatri (2018), which was produced by his brother-in-law Khan under his banner Salman Khan Films. Antim, his second movie, is also being backed by the production house.

Antim is the official Hindi remake of Pravin Tarde’s acclaimed Marathi movie Mulshi Pattern (2018). The film saw Om Bhutkar play the protagonist while Upendra Limyaye played the cop.

The film took place in Mulshi, a taluka in the Pune district of Maharashtra. It was about a youngster from a family of farmers, played by Bhutkar, who is forced to become a gangster.

The film saw director Tarde play a ruffian. It hasn't been revealed who will play the role in Antim. Tarde also played a gangster in Khan’s last movie Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai (2021).

Antim has been directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. Interestingly, he played the role of a labourer in the original film.
