Suvrat Joshi, who stars in the recently-released Marathi web-series Jobless, will be seen in two projects with Hruta Durgule.
The actor will be playing Durgule’s brother in her film debut Ananya. The artistes will also be seen together in a web-series but in this project, they star opposite each other. “Our characters are completely different from those we are playing in Ananya. The show is just about two characters,” Joshi told Cinestaan.

The actor will also appear in an as-yet-untitled Marathi film. “I am in a supporting role but I love the genre. It is like a children-centric film. It has two parts and it’s the story of a family in London,” he said.
After Jobless, Joshi will be seen in another project by Planet Marathi, Goshta Eka Paithanichi, which also stars Sayali Sanjeev. "That is a very sweet story. I can’t wait to bring it in front of people. It’s completely different from Jobless. Plus, Jobless is about a man staying in a city. This movie is about a very simple family in a village," he said.
He added, "It’s a story between a fall pico specialist and a flower-seller. They are very simple and their financial condition is not that sound. The movie is as sweet as Jobless is dark. Both characters are diametrically opposite."
Planet Marathi recently had a grand launch. Speaking about the platform, Joshi added, “A year and a half ago, Planet Marathi was just a film company. It is a big leap for them to now start their own OTT platform. Plus, I have a personal friendship with their entire team. Their success is difficult to put in words. It’s like how we feel if our elder brother achieves success. I am sure people will love their platform. We really needed a platform like this.”
