Punjabi singer and actor Gurnam Bhullar’s recently released song ‘Tohr’ is a foot-tapping bhangra number.
Written, composed and sung by the multi-talented singer, the song has been released on the label Diamondstar Worldwide.
Directed by Vikram, the video is set in what seems to be a garage, which is filled with lots of fancy cars, and features a bhangra troupe of youths who effortlessly move to the dance number. There is also an all-women team of dancers dressed in rapper-style clothing doing bhangra moves.
The female lead in the video is Sara Khippal, who along with the dancers, is the highlight of the video, as they dance beautifully to the traditional beats in their colourful costumes.
Bhullar’s melodious voice complements the folk beats of the song, which add to the appeal of this track. The singer and actor has also shown that he can dance, as he matches Khippal, which is no easy task as she is well-known for her brilliant moves.
