The film, a rare action thriller in Marathi, also stars Sharad Ponkshe, Pallavi Patil and Pushkaraj Chirputkar.

The first poster for director Abhishek Jawkar’s Marathi movie Grey was released back in 2018. It featured the film’s leading man Vaibhav Tatwawaadi. But the film could not be released back then and will finally see the light of day on the over-the-top (OTT) platform Zee5 on 1 October.
The movie sees Tatwawaadi play a young man named Siddhant who gets the shock of his life when, during a video chat with his sister, he sees his entire family being assassinated. He plans revenge by teaming up with his half-brother and ex-wife.
The trailer for the film, which was released recently, only features random visuals from the action drama with the theme song playing in the background. The aforementioned synopsis was provided by the makers. The trailer does not even hint at the basic plot of the film.
Action thrillers are rarely seen in Marathi cinema and the trailer shows Grey is out to fill that gap. Tatwawaadi has the screen image of a lover boy, but he has tried something very different this time. And it must be said he fits the action avatar. Sharad Ponkshe also seems just right for the role of an evil politician. The film also stars Pallavi Patil and Pushkaraj Chirputkar.
Watch the trailer below and let us know if you are keen to watch the film.
