Dhruv and Kavya are back for one last hurrah in the fourth and final season of Netflix’s Little Things (2021). The latest series finds the couple reunited after living apart and travelling together across India.
The long-time couple also begins to tackle those weighty topics of love, marriage and children as they begin to think about what the future holds for them. The likeable leads Dhruv Sehgal and Mithila Palkar seem to know these characters like the back of their hands and feel at ease with one another.
But there seems to be a sense of finality around the season as the feel-good moments are intertwined with moments of nostalgia. The couple has also moved on from the early days of their relationship and has grown up in many ways as well.
Speaking about the show, Palkar revealed that the series is very close to her heart. “Kavya is a character that is going to stay with me forever,” she said. “It’s been an incredible journey with Dhruv, my directors and the fabulous crew. The finale season nudged me to go back in time and relive my journey as Kavya for one last time. I am hoping audiences enjoy this season as well and celebrate their bond with Dhruv and Kavya.”
Reminiscing about his time on Little Things, Sehgal added, "My bond with Little Things is very special, it's not only a show that I wrote or played a character I love, but this show is also my baby. I have grown with this show and the amount of love it has received over the years has really overwhelmed me. I’m honestly a little sad that this show is coming to an end, but I’m also immensely happy that Dhruv and Kavya were able to spread this much love and joy amongst their audience!"
Produced by Pocket Aces and Dice Media, the Netflix series is directed by Ruchir Arun and Pranjal Dua. The final season will be premiered on 15 October on Netflix.
