The Tiger Shroff-starrer Heropanti 2 was earlier supposed to be released on 6 May 2022. But the makers have now advanced the release by a week to 29 April to time it with Ramzan Eid. This will be only the second Eid-ul-Fitr since 2013 when a Salman Khan film won’t be hitting the theatres.
It is also learnt that Heropanti 2 stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the antagonist who is pitted against Shroff's character. The news was shared by the international film publication Variety. The report said Siddiqui wrapped up his part of the shoot in London recently.

This is the second time Shroff and Siddiqui will be sharing the screen after Sabbir Khan’s Munna Michael (2017). This is also Siddiqui’s second outing with producer Sajid Nadiadwala after the Salman Khan-starrer Kick (2014) where his portrayal of the negative character Shiv Gajra earned him acclaim.
Directed by Ahmed Khan, Heropanti 2 is the second film in the franchise. Heropanti, released in 2014, marked the acting debuts of Shroff and Kriti Sanon. But the second movie will see Tara Sutaria opposite Shroff. She also gets space on the newly released poster for the film where Shroff is seen in an action avatar.
