The new poster for the upcoming Tamil horror comedy Pei Mama, starring Yogi Babu, has been called out by several users on Twitter for blatantly copying the poster for Vicky Kaushal’s horror drama Bhoot (2020).
Many users shared the two posters to highlight how the makers of Pei Mama had simply used the Bhoot poster design with little change.
Looking at both the posters, it appears that the makers of Pei Mama simply replaced Vicky Kaushal from the original poster with Yogi Babu and added a few more characters.

Pei Mama, which has been directed by Sakthi Chidambaram, is gearing up for a theatrical release on 24 September. The film also stars Mottai Rajendran and yesteryear heroine and Bigg Boss Tamil 4 contestant Rekha. Both of them will be seen playing ghosts in the movie.
The supporting cast includes MS Bhaskar, Kovai Sarala, Vaiyapuri, Ramesh Khanna and Chaams.
The trailer for the movie was released recently and was received well by the audience. Going by the trailer, the film is about Yogi Babu's character coming to the rescue of a ghost haunted by... ghosts!
