Neeru Bajwa announces release date of new Punjabi film, Kokka

Actress Neeru Bajwa, who has several movies lined up for the coming year, has announced the release of yet another project, Kokka, on Instagram.

Sharing the poster, she wrote, “Bebe Sach Kehndi aa, Pyaar di koi umar ni hundi… May 20 2022 (sic)”, which is the tagline of the movie and translates to, 'Mother was right; there is indeed no age for love'.

Bajwa will star alongside Gurnam Bhullar in this romantic drama and the vibrant poster sees him lifting her up. Given the tagline of the movie, it seems to be about a modern-day romance, perhaps between a younger man and an older woman. Bhullar made his debut as a lead actor in the movie Guddiyan Patole (2019).

The film is presented by Neeru Bajwa Entertainment and Rabba Productions in association with Topnotch Studios UK. The producers on board are Santosh Subhash Thite, Raman Aggarwal, Bally Singh Kakkar and Vishal Johal. 

Bajwa has numerous upcoming films such as Shava Ni Girdhari Lal, Phatte Dinde Chakk Punjabi, and Snowman, all featuring Gippy Grewal, in the pipeline. Besides this, she also has Kali Jotta opposide Sufi singer Satinder Sartaaj.
