Netflix unveils starry line-up for India spotlight of fan event Tudum

Netflix has unveiled the trailer for the India spotlight of its upcoming global fan event on 25 September. The event will go live for a duration of three hours and mark returning, new shows and big features that are set to arrive on the platform.

The India spotlight will be hosted by Radhika Apte and Ali Fazal. Apte has been a regular collaborator with Netflix since their first big success, the Emmy-nominated Sacred Games (2018), while Ali Fazal was recently part of the anthology, Ray (2021), backed by Netflix.

The trailer released for the India spotlight offers a sneak peek into some of the more exciting ventures backed by the platform. These include Madhuri Dixit in a never-before avatar in Finding Anamika and the reclusive Sanjay Leela Bhansali taking to the stage to speak about his first web-series, Heeramandi.

The trailer also gives us a glimpse of the star-studded sneak peek that includes Riteish Deshmukh, Tamannaah Bhatia, Tabu, Tovino Thomas, Kartik Aaryan, Raveena Tandon, Rohit Saraf and Prajakta Koli. There is also the presence of Vishal Bhardwaj's newly announced spy thriller, Khufiya, which will feature Tabu and Ali Fazal.

The event will take place at 9pm IST on 25 September and feature over 145 artistes and creators across Netflix's global database on the virtual stage of the platform's YouTube channel to present new looks, trailers and sneak peeks into the upcoming seasons.
