Ali Fazal stars in Arati Kadav’s science-fiction short film

After getting rave reviews for his work in the Netflx anthology Ray (2021), Ali Fazal has shot for a science-fiction short film. The yet-untitled movie is directed by Arati Kadav and it was shot recently in Mumbai over a period of four days.
The filmmaker is best known for her previous feature film Cargo (2020), which also belonged to the science-fiction genre. That film starred Vikrant Massey and Shweta Tripathi.
Kadav’s previous short film 55 KM/Sec (2021) was also in the same genre. Interestingly, it starred Ali Fazal’s girlfriend Richa Chadha.
Sharing his experience of shooting for the film, Ali Fazal said in a statement, “Collaborating with Arati has been an amazing experience. I have to say that I really had a lot of fun shooting with her and I think she is immensely talented in what she does.
"We shot the entire film in the span of just four days in Mumbai. The genre is extremely exciting; something I have done for the very first time in my career. So that has been something really interesting.”
The makers haven’t revealed the rest of the cast but have said that the film will be released online soon.
