Shororipu 2: Jotugriho trailer – A story of characters trapped in their vices

Ayan Chakraborti’s upcoming film Shororipu 2: Jotugriho is a story of how six vices instigate the criminal bend in human beings.

Starring Saswata Chatterjee, Arunima Ghosh, Chiranjeet Chakraborty and Darshana Banik, the thriller involves characters who fail to fight their vices or become victims when others act upon their inner devils.

The trailer for the film does not reveal much about the storyline, but the visuals make it clear that Ghosh's character is in an unhappy marital relationship with Chatterjee, who is abusive and hardly cares for his wife’s emotions. Ghosh puts up with a lot for the sake of their child but eventually she gives in to her yearning for love and care and gets entangled in an affair, only to feel betrayed and insulted.

While she goes through an emotional whirlwind, a murder complicates the scenario as Chakraborty’s character in the trailer calls her the prime suspect.

There are numerous other characters linked to the primary plot, but all of them seem to have been trapped of their own actions. The trailer does give a suffocating feeling and prepares the audience for a disturbing tale.
