Vikrant Rona teaser: Sudeep's mysterious vigilante takes on baddies in the rain

The first glimpse of Kichcha Sudeep's much-awaited action-adventure Vikrant Rona has been released on the actor's 50th birthday.

The one-and-a-half-minute video, titled Vikrant Rona Glimpse: Deadman's Anthem, shows Sudeep in a never-before-seen avatar wearing a suave leather jacket and a suede hat. He takes on his enemies with ease with his blazing sword on a rainy night.

B Ajaneesh Loknath's grand haunting music makes the slow-motion action sequence even more visually appealing.

Another thing that really stands out in this short but intriguing teaser is the unique lyrics of the anthem which has been written by director Anup Bhandari. Going by the lyrics and visuals, it seems Sudeep is playing a vigilante in the movie. It looks like the film has a very dark tone.

The film also stars Nirup Bhandari, Jacqueline Fernandez and Neetha Ashok in pivotal roles.

Vikrant Rona will be released in 3D in 14 languages and in almost 55 countries.  It was earlier set to arrive in theatres on 19 August.

Vikrant Rona has been made under the Shalini Artss banner and co-produced by Alankar Pandian.
